A man was allegedly killed by his three sons in Khairpur following a long-running dispute over family property, the 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Sunday.
The incident took place in the Hingorja area, where the three sons allegedly attacked their father, Wahid Bakhsh Solangi, with a sharp-edged weapon, resulting in his death.
Local police arrived at the scene after receiving information about the incident.
Police took the body into custody and transferred it to a hospital to complete the necessary legal and medical procedures.
The victim's brother, Muhammad Usman Solangi, said the property dispute between Wahid Bakhsh and his sons had continued for a considerable period.
He alleged that the three sons, identified as Saeed, Ayaz and Nisar, used a sharp-edged weapon to kill their father.
Police said the suspects fled the scene after the killing. Officers have recovered the suspected murder weapon and have launched a detailed investigation. Raids are being carried out at various locations in an effort to arrest the accused.
