A vehicle defaulting on e-challan worth Rs60,000 was caught in Green Town area of Lahore during ongoing crackdown on e-challan defaulters, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.
Traffic Inspector Zaheer Abbas checked the pickup's e-challans record and found a fine of Rs60,000 pending.
Commercial vehicle violated signal four times and fine for each violation is Rs15,000.
Commercial pickup was seized at the relevant police station for non-payment of fine.
E-challaning continued from ANPR cameras on more than 20 traffic violations in the city.
Citizens should follow traffic rules to avoid e-challans.
