One of the popular Pakistani couples, Asim Azhar and Merub Ali, have parted ways after three years of engagement. The decision, announced by the male artist in the late-night upload, was actually mutual and made after great consideration between the two. It is also important to note that Asim Azhar and Merub have unfollowed each other on the social media platform Instagram handle after announcing their breakup.
Asim Azhar took to his Instagram handle and shared the abovementioned sad upload in the dark hours, which took people by surprise, with many speculating a lot about their relationship.
The male singer in the late-night Instagram story shared that he and Merub have mutually and peacefully decided to end their relationship. He also requested fans for privacy and understanding during their difficult period.
“After a great deal of thought and reflection, Merub & I have chosen to move forward on separate paths peacefully & mutually,” Azhar added in the Instagram story.
“While we shared meaningful moments and genuinely hoped for a future together, life sometimes takes its own course. We have the utmost respect for each other and the families involved, and always will. We kindly ask for your understanding and privacy during this time, and hope this is met with the same grace with which it is being shared,” he furthered.
It is important to mention that Asim Azhar and Merub got engaged in March 2022 during a private ceremony at home.
The former couple is often seen offering a public display of affection, support, and love for each other.
