The National Assembly of Pakistan on Monday passed a resolution, condemning Indian aggression, praising the befitting response from the armed forces of Pakistan and greeting the nation over Pakistan’s historic victory in the war against India.
Soon after the National Assembly session started with Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq in the chair, Federal Law Minister Azam Nazir Tarar tabled the resolution. He thanked Allah for bestowing Pakistan with victory against India. He said that all political parties of Pakistan stood united against the Indian aggression.
Those in attendance also offered fateha for the Pakistanis who lost their lives in the Indian missile strikes. Ali Muhammad Khan of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) led the prayers for the martyrs. The law minister said the resolution was drafted in consultation with all political parties having representation in the National Assembly.
