PML-N senior leader and adviser to the Prime Minister on Political Affairs Rana Sanaullah has criticised former prime minister Imran Khan, saying he has consistently preferred confrontation over political dialogue, 24NewsHD TV reported on Tuesday.
Speaking to a private television channel at Parliament House, Rana Sanaullah said Imran Khan was responsible for his current situation and that his political future also depended on his own decisions.
He said no political leader could move forward with a confrontational approach.
“If Imran Khan considers himself a politician, then he should practice politics,” he added.
Commenting on regional security, Rana Sanaullah said Pakistan’s position remained clear that Afghan territory must not be used for terrorism against any country.
He said Islamabad has repeatedly urged Afghanistan to ensure that its soil is not used for militant activities, stressing that regional peace depended on effective action against such threats.
