A local court in Islamabad has accepted the bail application of PTI leader Murad Saeed in a case related to Section 144 violation, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Additional Sessions Judge Zafar Iqbal on Wednesday heard the petition of the PTI leader and granted him bail against the surety bond of Rs5,000.
A case was registered against 19 PTI leaders including Imran Khan for defying Section 144 imposed in Islamabad on August 20, when the party members held a rally against the arrest and ‘custodial torture’ of PTI leader Shahbaz Gill.
A first information report was registered in the Aabpara police station on August 23 that had nominated the political party leaders for undermining the law.
