All educational institutions in Rawalpindi, which were closed earlier due to the law and order situation, will reopen tomorrow, officials confirmed on Sunday.

According to sources in the Rawalpindi District Education Authority, the decision has been taken after an improvement in the overall security situation. The authority has announced the resumption of academic activities in both public and private schools from tomorrow.

Abrar Ahmed Khan, President of the EPSMA North Punjab, also confirmed the reopening, stating that the Punjab Education Department has updated its website to formally notify the decision.

He said that students’ studies had been adversely affected due to the suspension of educational activities over the past few days. “Now that the situation has normalised, schools are ready to resume classes, and students can return to their regular academic routines,” he added.

Officials have advised all institutions to ensure safety protocols and maintain coordination with local authorities to avoid any disruption in the future.
