Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has paid tribute to 23 brave sons of Pakistan who lost their lives in unprovoked firing by Afghan Taliban and Indian-sponsored terrorists, reported 24NewsHD TV Channel.
IN his message, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi offered salute to the great sacrifices of the martyrs of the country.
Naqvi prayed for the speedy recovery of the injured soldiers and expressed his heartfelt sympathy and condolences to the families of the martyrs.
He said the brave sons of Pakistan have set a great example by sacrificing their lives for the defense of the homeland.
He strongly condemned unprovoked firing by the Afghan forces on Pakistani territory and warned of a firm response. Naqvi said that firing on the civilian population was a blatant violation of international law. He said Pakistan’s armed forces gave a prompt and effective response and proved that no provocation would be tolerated. He added that Pakistan’s forces remained alert and that Afghanistan had received a stone for a brick.
Naqvi said the people of Pakistan stood like a wall alongside their armed forces.
He vowed that Afghanistan would receive a befitting reply, as India received, so that it would not dare cast an evil eye at Pakistan.
