President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif condemned Afghanistan's aggression and said Pakistan will not compromise on its national sovereignty, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.
In a statement, President Asif Ali said Pakistan is determined to protect its national interests, territorial sovereignty, and security.
The President of the State expressed regret that the Afghan leadership has done injustice to both history and the Ummah by turning its back on the freedom struggle of the oppressed people of occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
He said the attacks of the Khawarij sedition from the land of the interim Afghan government are a proven fact by the United Nations reports.
Pakistan has repeatedly made it clear that Pakistani citizens and security personnel are being targeted by the nexus of the Khawarij sedition and the Hindu sedition, the President said.
The President of the State urged the Afghan leadership to take practical steps to eliminate anti-Pakistan terrorist elements.
He said the Khawarij sedition and the Hindu sedition are the biggest threats to the peace and stability of the region.
The honourable return of Afghan citizens along with the restoration of peace is in the interest of both countries.
Pakistan will continue to support the educational and humanitarian needs of the Afghan people.
Pakistan has provided all possible facilities to Afghanistan to promote trade, economy and ties, the President said.
Mutual cooperation and economic partnership are the basis for sustainable peace and development of the region, Asif Ali Zardari.
The President said Pakistan is the well-wisher of a peaceful, stable and prosperous Afghanistan, and brotherly relations are linked to mutual respect, security cooperation and regional peace.
The President said that Pakistan expects the interim Afghan government to prevent its territory from being used by terrorist elements of the Khawarij and India

PM Shehbaz condemns Afghanistan attack
Pakistan's prime minister said on Sunday he "strongly condemns provocations" by Afghanistan, vowing a "strong and effective response" after border clashes between the neighbouring countries overnight.
"There will be no compromise on Pakistan’s defence, and every provocation will be met with a strong and effective response," Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said in a statement, accusing Taliban authorities in Afghanistan of allowing their land to be used by "terrorist elements".
