Two notorious dacoits killed during separate police encounters in Faisalabad and Rawalpindi, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.
According to the details, the Crime Control Department (CCD) team received authentic information that five dacoits were committing robbery after placing barricades near the Kanjwani area of Faisalabad.
A CCD immediately rushed to the spot. After taking notice of the CCD team, the dacoits opened fire on them.
Later, the dead accused was identified as Naveed. CCD police said that Naveed was wanted by the police in more than thirty-two criminal cases.
Police shifted the dead body of Naveed to the local hospital’s mortuary and started a search operation to apprehend his accomplices.
In another police encounter in Rawalpindi, a notorious car-lifter died and his other colleague escaped from the scene amid firing in Dhamiyal Police Station.
The dead accused was involved in more than dozen cases. Police said that the dead dacoits was also involved in gruesome murder of a citizen in 2023.
The dead dacoit was identified as Ali Shan.
