Unknown thieves using boats targeted homes marooned in the Sutlej River floods, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Friday.
In Basti Dona, looters stormed the house of a farmer trapped by the floods, stealing solar panels, an inverter, and household goods worth over Rs 1 million before fleeing.
Police arrived at the scene in boats but, instead of pursuing the culprits, returned without taking action, residents alleged.
