Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) head Maulana Fazlur Rehman met former Pakistan cricket captain Shahid Afridi at Afridi’s residence on Monday, where both figures discussed the country’s overall political and social situation, 24NewsHD TV reported.
According to sources, the meeting was held in a warm and friendly atmosphere, with senior JUI-F leaders accompanying Fazlur Rehman, including Hafiz Naseer Ahrar, Maulana Saeed-ur-Rehman Sarwar, Mufti Muhammad Imran, and Khalid Sharif.
During the discussion, Fazlur Rehman appreciated Afridi’s philanthropic activities.
Afridi, in response, highlighted his family’s longstanding ties with JUI-F and recalled the affection and respect of religious elders.
