The Lahore High Court (LHC) on Monday announced major administrative changes, including the transfer and posting of several senior judicial officers, following approval by Chief Justice Aalia Neelum.
According to an official notification, the reshuffle includes the transfer of the LHC registrar and director general (DG) of district judiciary, along with five sessions judges.
Khushab Sessions Judge Raja Qamar-uz-Zaman has been appointed the new Registrar of the Lahore High Court. Meanwhile, Amjad Iqbal Ranjha has been transferred from the post of the registrar.
In another key appointment, Abdul Rahim has been designated as DG of District Judiciary, while Malik Ali Zulqarnain has been appointed Session Judge in Attock.
Additionally, Khalid Saeed Wattoo, who was serving as Presiding Officer of the Special Court for Bank Crimes in Lahore, has been transferred and appointed Session Judge Khanewal.
The notification directs all concerned judges to assume charge of their new assignments by April 14.
The administrative changes are part of routine restructuring aimed at improving judicial efficiency and governance within the Lahore High Court.
