Pakistan and China have reaffirmed their commitment to deepening bilateral ties following a meeting between Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar and Chinese Ambassador Jiang Zedong on Monday.

According to Foreign Office spokesperson Tahir Andrabi, the meeting focused on the evolving regional situation and progress made after recent talks held in Islamabad.

During the meeting, Pakistan reiterated its commitment to promoting dialogue and diplomacy as the preferred path for resolving regional issues.

The Chinese envoy appreciated Pakistan’s role in facilitating direct talks between the United States and Iran, terming it a constructive contribution to regional stability.

Both sides also renewed their resolve to further strengthen the Pakistan-China “all-weather strategic cooperative partnership,” underscoring continued cooperation on diplomatic and regional fronts.
