Pakistan Railways reshuffles senior officers, appoints new divisional heads

Ministry of Railways on Monday carried out a major reshuffle of senior officials, transferring and appointing five Grade 19 and 20 officers across key operational divisions, 24NewsHD TV reported. 

According to a notification, Waqar Ahmed Shahid has been appointed as Chief Operating Officer at the Railways Headquarters.

Imran Hayat, previously Divisional Superintendent (DS) Quetta, has been posted as DS Peshawar.

He replaces Farman Ghani, who has been transferred to head the Sukkur Division.

Meanwhile, Mahmood ur Rehman Lakho, formerly DS Karachi, has been appointed as DS Quetta.

In another move, Jamshed Alam, who was serving as DS Sukkur, has been reassigned as DS Karachi.
