The Asia Pacific Group has released its report on Pakistan's compliance with FATF-prescribed action plan to fend off money-laundering and terror-financing, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Friday.
According to the Foreign Ministry, the group acknowledged the progress Pakistan made for the purpose.
The APG is aimed at ensuring implementation of internationally-accepted anti-money laundering and counter-terrorist financing standards set out in the FATF Forty Recommendations and FATF Eight Special Recommendations.
Of 40, 35 recommendations have been enforced, the finance ministry said citing the report.
It added the country has been moving in the right direction and showing its seriousness towards implementation of FATF's recommendations.
The country has been placed on the list of states that have stepped up efforts for anti-money laundering and anti-terror financing.
