Jamiat Ulema Islam chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman phoned Caretaker Prime Minister Anwarul Haq Kaktar, the 24NewsHD TV channel reported.
Maulana Fazlur Rehman congratulated Anwarul Haq on his appointment as caretaker premier. He hoped the caretaker setup will ensure the conduct of transparent elections.
