Pakistani veteran actress Bushra Ansari has spoken out over the reported brutal treatment of Mir Raza following a loan dispute.
Reacting to the case, she expressed shock at the alleged violence and questioned how such extreme treatment could be linked to a financial matter.
While discussing the case, Bushra referred to reports that Mir Raza was allegedly subjected to severe torture, including being made to drink acid, having his thumb broken and being shot. She questioned why anyone would face such brutal treatment over a loan.
Bushra said that the kind of punishments reportedly inflicted on Mir Raza should instead be reserved for people who commit serious crimes. Referring to rapists and people who throw acid at women, she argued that such offenders should face severe punishment.
The actress also spoke about the loan itself, saying that if Mir Raza had borrowed money and was unable to repay it on time, that did not necessarily mean he had refused to pay. She suggested that he could have been facing financial difficulties and may have been trying to arrange the money.
Bushra questioned how a disagreement over money could allegedly turn into such extreme violence. Her comments reflected her concern over the reported treatment of Mir Raza and the wider issue of using violence to settle financial disputes.
The case has attracted attention on social media, with Mir Raza’s family reportedly seeking justice. His father has also spoken publicly about the matter and called for action against those allegedly responsible.
