Former caretaker federal minister Dr Gohar Ejaz on Thursday marked Pakistan’s 79th Independence Day with a message highlighting national unity, resilience and aspirations for progress and prosperity.
In a post on X titled “One Nation. One Dream,” Ejaz said Pakistan’s journey had been shaped by dreams, resilience and unwavering hope.
He also recalled a vision he had outlined in 2005 in an early advertisement for Lake City, where he serves as chief executive of Lake City Holdings.
Lake City — A Dream. A Vision. A Reality.

ONE NATION. ONE DREAM.
Celebrating 79 Years of Pakistan.
Pakistan has been a journey shaped by dreams, resilience, and unwavering hope—a journey of progress and prosperity.
In 2005, a vision took its first steps.

Ejaz said home ownership remained a dream for many Pakistanis and that Lake City had been conceived as a lifestyle community aimed at improving residents’ quality of life.
He said the project had evolved from an initial vision into a developed community and described its journey as part of a broader effort to create opportunities and contribute to Pakistan’s future.
“From vision to reality, the journey continues — building communities, creating possibilities and shaping a better tomorrow for Pakistan,” he said.
Ejaz concluded his Independence Day message with the words: “We committed. We delivered. Pakistan Zindabad.”
