India’s new Charge d’Affaires Dr Satyanjal Pandey has arrived in Pakistan and assumed charge of the Indian mission ans Indian High Commission, diplomatic sources said, reported 24NewsHD TV Channel.
According to diplomatic sources, Dr Satyanjal Pandey has replaced Geetika Srivastava, who had been serving as India’s Charge d’Affaires in Pakistan since 2023 and has now returned to India.
Dr Pandey has been associated with India’s Ministry of External Affairs for the past 18 years.
He previously served as India’s Deputy High Commissioner in Colombo, Sri Lanka from August 2023 to 2026.
After arriving in Pakistan, Dr Pandey also visited the Foreign Office this week, where he held his first meeting with relevant officials, diplomatic sources said.
