The federal government will help the National Highway Authority (NHA) obtain a loan of $164,598,000 from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) for the rehabilitation of the roads destroyed in floods, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.
As per the official sources, PC-1 of Rs36.21 billion has been prepared for the rehabilitation of N-5 that had been damaged in floods.
The NHA will obtain loan from the ADB under the Emergency Flood Loan programme.
The NHA will rehabilitate the 86km flood-damaged road from Moro to Ranipur, Sindh.
The package also includes the construction and repairs to 32 bridges on N-5.
