A ceremony was held on Tuesday to mark the 86th birthday of Prince Karim Aga Khan, the leader of the Ismaili community, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The ceremony was held under the auspices of International Lawyers Forum which was attended by a large number of people including Hindu and Sikh communities.
PM extends congratulations
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif also wished Prince Karim Aga Kha on his birthday and acknowledged his contribution to the field of education and socio-economic development.
“Congratulations to His Highness Prince Karim Aga Khan IV on his birthday,” he said in a tweet posted on Tuesday.
The prime minister said, “We acknowledge, appreciate, and remain grateful for his wonderful contributions to the cause of education and socio-economic development in Pakistan and around the world.”
