Another FIR has surfaced against jailed former prime minister Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi over the killing of Rangers personnel in Islamabad on November 26.
The FIR registered by Islamabad’s Ramna Police Station was earlier sealed by the police on the instructions of the higher authorities.
According to the FIR, the incident was planned inside Adiala Jail. It says that Rangers personnel were killed at Imran Khan’s behest. It says that Imran Khan targeted the Rangers personnel through the Pakistan Tereek-e-Insaf (PTI) leaders who were visiting him in Adiala Jail frequently. It said that some prisoners and policemen in plainclothes were witness to this incident.

It says that Bushra Bibi, Ali Amin Gandapur, Omar Ayub Khan, Sheikh Waqas Akram and Salman Akram Raja got Imran Khan’s orders implemented on November 26.
It says that Murad Saeed, Zulfi Bukhari, Rauf Hassan, Hamad Azhar and others were also involved in this planning. It says that Bushra Bibi and other aforementioned PTI leaders incited people through video messages. It says the PTI leadership incited people against the government and the army. A driver doing duty during the protest crushed three Rangers personnel under the wheels of their Land Cruiser.
Besides registration of a murder case against the PTI leadership, provisions of terrorism and Criminal Procedure Code were also added to the case.
