Federal Information Minister Atta Tarar has said that the country's economy has stabilized under the leadership of the Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, adding that country was on path to recovery and growth, reported 24NewsHDTV Channel.
Minister for Information was addressing the launching ceremony of senior journalist Muhammad Nawaz Raza's book "Mard Ahan Muhammad Nawaz Sharif" at Lahore Press Club on Saturday.
He said that PML-N Quaid Nawaz Sharif's family promoted industrial development in the country and the credit for development works in every corner of the country goes to Nawaz Sharif.
He said the foundation stone of Rawalpindi Institute of Cardiology was laid during Nawaz Sharif's tenure. He said Nawaz Sharif started the politics of service in the country, adding that Nawaz Sharif's name was written on the plaque of every national development project.
Tarar maintained: "Today, international institutions recognise Pakistan’s economic stability. It is fortunate that we have been delivered from this man."
"False justice and slogans of change were used to unleash destruction and ruin. Defence institutions were attacked to satisfy personal ego and interests," said Tarar.
He maintained that the seeds of hatred were sown across the country in the form of PTI. The information minister said this has never happened before. He said that politics of hatred was carried out for personal gain.
Attaullah Tarar said, "What did PTI achieve in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in twelve years?". "Never before had anyone been followed by crowds when they left a place," said Tarar.
He maintained: "No political party had ever written a letter to the IMF." "Political opposition existed, but it was never turned into enmity. Attempts were made through conspiracy to mislead the youth," said Atta Tarar.
On the occasion, Attaullah Tarar also lauded coordination between information ministry and the journalist fraternity. He claimed that the government was committed to the welfare of the journalists.
