Customs Enforcement Quetta has carried out a major crackdown against smuggling, recovering smuggled goods worth Rs 500 million, the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) reported on Friday.
According to the FBR, Customs Enforcement teams, with support from other law enforcement agencies, conducted multiple operations across the city.
The seized items include areca nut (chhalia), cigarettes, China salt (MSG), Indian medicines, skimmed milk powder, spare parts, and dates.
The recovered goods have been taken into custody, and legal proceedings have been initiated under the Customs Act, 1969, the FBR added.
