President Asif Ali Zardari held an important meeting with senior leaders of the Pakistan People's Party (PPP) to discuss the political situation and organizational matters in Punjab.
Punjab Governor Sardar Saleem Haider met President Asif Ali Zardari at Bilawal House, Bahria Town. Several prominent PPP leaders were also present on the occasion, including PPP leader Faisal Mir, Member of the National Assembly Makhdoom Murtaza Mahmood, PPP South Punjab Coordinator Abdul Qadir Shaheen, Member of the Punjab Assembly Alamdar Qureshi, Malik Muzaffar and others.
During the meeting, Punjab Governor Sardar Saleem Haider briefed the President in detail on the prevailing political situation in Punjab. PPP leaders also apprised President Asif Ali Zardari of the challenges and problems being faced by the party in the province, particularly at the grassroots level.
After listening to the briefing, President Asif Ali Zardari issued instructions to PPP leaders, including the Punjab governor, to intensify the public outreach and public relations campaign across Punjab. He emphasized strengthening the party’s organizational structure, increasing contact with the masses, and effectively highlighting the PPP’s policies and achievements.
The meeting underscored the party leadership’s focus on revitalizing PPP’s presence in Punjab and addressing public concerns through active engagement and coordination.
