A newly-elected member of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly supported by Pakistan Tehrik-i-Insaf (PTI) was injured in an accident near Balakot on Tuesday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Munir Hussain Lughmani was travelling from Balakot to Dera Ismail Khan when his car collided head-on within another car near Balakot.
Munir Hussain received injuries in the accident while his driver was seriously wounded who were rushed to a hospital for treatment.
Munir Hussain was elected MPA from PK-36 Mansehra-I.
Munir Hussain Lughmani had won the election by a margin of 4,660 votes. He had secured 35,074 votes while PML-N’s Syed Junaid Ali Qasim remained second with 30,414.
