A shocking revelation about the past of Pakistani actress and mum-to-be Mariyam Nafees’s husband, Amaan Ahmed has been revealed that sent the social media into frenzy.
As the couple recently left Pakistan and went abroad for their childbirth, the news about Amaan Ahmed's past has surfaced on the internet that he was previously the son-in-law of Pakistani actress and comedian Bushra Ansari.
He was married to Meera Ansari, the daughter of Bushra Ansari.
The news surfaced when Nafees shared a picture of her passport while traveling to the USA to deliver her first baby while the netizens trolled her saying she was going so that her baby would get the US nationality.
In the comments, a social media user claimed that Nafees’s husband is already a US citizen and the former husband of Bushra’s daughter, Meera Ansari.
Following this claim, the media portals and social users began investigating Meera’s past and made a surprising discovery that Ahmed married Bushra Ansari’s daughter in 2000 and they have two children together.
According to reports, the marriage did not last long and in November 2020, Meera re-married in New York.
It is to be noted that Bushra Ansari has often expressed regret over her daughters’ first marriages but has also mentioned that Meera’s second husband is very supportive and honorable.
Amaan Ahmed married Nafees in 2022. The couple is now expecting their first child.
