A motorcyclist died of a suspected heart attack after being issued a traffic fine on GT Road in Gujrat, 24NewsHD TV reported on Friday.
According to eyewitnesses and local authorities, the incident occurred when traffic police stopped the rider and issued a challan for an alleged violation.
Witnesses said the man, described as belonging to a low-income background, repeatedly pleaded with traffic officials, stating that he did not have the money to pay the fine.
According to bystanders, the situation escalated emotionally as the young man continued to request leniency.
Moments later, he reportedly collapsed at the scene.
Rescue services were alerted, but the man was pronounced dead on the spot.
Initial accounts suggest he suffered a cardiac arrest.
