Japan to provide 2.91b yen grant to Pakistan for child healthcare

Japan will provide 2.91 billion Japanese yen grant to Pakistan and a grant agreement has been signed between the two countries, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.

According to Ministry of Economic Affairs, Japan will provide funds for child healthcare in South Punjab.

The Japan International Cooperation Agency will provide a grant of 2.91 billion Japanese yen.

Children's Hospital and Institute of Child Health Multan will be upgraded in terms of medical facilities.

ICH is the largest child tertiary care hospital in the Multan region.

The provision of facilities in it will be made more efficient.

Close cooperation with the government of Pakistan will continue, Japanese Ambassador reiterated.

Japanese Ambassador said friendly relations and bilateral cooperation will be further strengthened.
