Three people lost their lives, and one became seriously injured when some unidentified gunmen opened fire on them in Lakki Marwat due to an old enmity, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.
The incident occurred in the jurisdiction of the City Police Station of the Katakhel area.
The dead persons were later identified as Rehanullah, son of Sanaullah, Abdullah, son of Inamullah, and Farmanullah, son of Naimatullah, all residents of Kattakhel.
Soon after receiving the report, a police team rushed to the spot and shifted the dead bodies, and injured Abdul Rehman was transported to the Government City Hospital.
The injured person was later referred to a hospital in Bannu.
Police said that an old enmity led to the occurrence of the incident. They said that they had launched an investigation into the triple murder incident.
