Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Information Adviser Barrister Muhammad Ali Saif said in a press conference that the government’s position on terrorism is clear: it is absolutely unacceptable in any form.

According to the 24NewsHD TV channel, addressing a press conference in Swat, he warned that if terrorists opt for reconciliation, well and good; otherwise, the state is ready for war.

“Terrorism doesn’t end with weapons alone,” said Saif. “It requires negotiation, tribal jirgas, and strategic reconciliation efforts. But this doesn’t mean we’ve surrendered.”

Barrister Saif emphasised that the government maintains complete control over its land and regions, dismissing any notion of terrorist dominance.

On the recent reserved seats verdict, he lashed out at the judiciary, calling the ruling "a stab in the back of the people" and accusing it of obstructing democracy.

“Granting reserved seats to others is a direct robbery of public rights,” he said. “If Maulana Fazlur Rehman claims to be a religious heir of the Prophet, then why is he accepting unconstitutional seats?”

Barrister Saif also clarified political speculation, stating, “There is no change in KP's government. I am not a man of the establishment. I am loyal to Imran Khan.”

He revealed that the movement for the release of PTI’s founder will now take a new direction, adding that the party’s strategy will minimise the arrest of its workers during future demonstrations.
