A tragic incident occurred in Ghotki's Ronti Katcha area, where three women drowned while attempting to cross a canal, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Sunday.
According to local police, the deceased have been identified as 30-year-old Ashraf Shar, 15-year-old Rani Shar, and Soni Shar.
As per the channel report, all three women belonged to the Shar community, authorities added.
Rescue operations were launched swiftly, and all three bodies were successfully recovered from the canal.
The local police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the tragic event.
