A 45-year-old woman Amna Bibi was shot dead by some unidentified accused in her house in Sialkot, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.
The incident occurred in the Bharth area in the jurisdiction of the Cantt Police Station, Sialkot.
According to the details, the woman was alone at her house at the time of her murder, and her sons were at their work.
When the son of the woman returned home, he found the dead body of his mother. He immediately informed the police station about the incident.
The Station House Officer (SHO) of Cantt Police Station said that they are collecting evidence and will soon arrest the accused.
Dead body of woman found in Lahore
Rescue 1122 personnel recovered the dead body of a woman from a nullah in Talha Block, Theme Park, Multan Road, Lahore.
Soon after receiving the information, the divers of Rescue 1122 recovered the dead body of a 35-year-old woman who had died a few days ago.
The identification of the dead woman is still unknown. Later, the rescue personnel handed over the dead body of the woman to the local police.
The police shifted the dead body of the woman to the local hospital’s mortuary for autopsy. The police are collecting information from the nearby areas.
Police sources said that the dead body was a few days old, and the reason for her death is still unknown.
