Punjab Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi has visited the site of the Sumanabad Underpass Project and reviewed the construction work.
According to 24NewsHD TV channel, the chief minister said the government is striving to complete every project on time.
The ongoing projects will be included in the next budget, he said.
The chief minister rubbished the report of releasing the miscreants after the bribe, saying the information minister will take up the matter in a press conference
The prime focus of the police is to control crime and create a sense of security.
Most of the miscreants involved in the May 9 riots were arrested, he said adding that no police were involved in the rioting. However, he said, a judicial commission will be formed if any evidence surfaces.
Last month, PTI members took to the streets to vent their spleen against the arrest of ex-PM Imran Khan in a corruption case. The protesters attacked public property, state assets and sensitive installations.
The angry protesters stormed GHQ in Rawalpindi, Corps Commander House in Lahore and Radio Pakistan in Peshawar. Innocent peopled died and the riots left a trail of destruction.
A number of PTI office-bearers and members announced partying ways with the party in the wake of the May 9 riots.
