The Sindh government has proposed allocation of Rs110 billion for six major development projects of Karachi in provincial budget 2025-26, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Friday.
The Sindh government will provide Rs13 billion for these projects while remaining Rs97 billion will be arranged through foreign project assistants.
Rs27 billion will be spent on Karachi Yellow Line BRT project, sources said, adding an amount of Rs8.8 billion was allocated for Karachi Water and Sewerage Service.
Rs18 billion allocated for Click Project of Local Government while Rs3 billion allocated for Click’s investment project. The Click Projects started to enable the City for residential purpose.
An amount of Rs9 billion allocated for Solid Waste Emergency Project and Rs26 billion will be spent on Karachi’s Red Line Project.
Rs18.8 billion were allocated for Karachi Water and Sewerage Service Phase-2.
