Pakistani actress Momina Iqbal has once again spoken out about her ongoing dispute with PML-N lawmaker Saqib Chadhar, sharing a series of Instagram Story and posts in which she made fresh claims, posted documents and insisted that more details will soon come to light.
The actress, who has been publicly discussing her cyber harassment case in recent weeks, claimed that attempts were being made to divert attention away from the original matter by involving her family in separate complaints and legal applications.
One of the major claims made by Momina involved what she described as 27 crore rupees worth of bounced cheques allegedly linked to Saqib Chadhar.
Sharing documents and FIR-related material on Instagram, she rejected previous financial allegations made against her and questioned claims that she had been given large sums of money.
“I stayed silent for a long time so that this would not turn into a spectacle, but I can no longer remain quiet,” Momina wrote. She further claimed that the dispute was never about financial transactions and alleged that the real issue stemmed from her refusal of a marriage proposal.
Momina alleged that her family had been dragged into various cases and applications unrelated to the original matter.
She also claimed that her sister, advocate Rimsha Iqbal, had been subjected to character assassination and expressed anger over what she described as repeated attempts to target her family.
The actress further alleged that her husband was also being troubled because he had stood by her throughout the case.
According to Momina, efforts were being made to shift attention away from the main dispute, but she insisted that the original case remains unchanged.
Referring to the legal proceedings, Momina stated that certain protocols and procedures apply when action is taken against a sitting lawmaker. She expressed confidence that the legal process would ultimately lead to justice and maintained that she intends to continue pursuing the matter.
In another strongly worded post, Momina shared copies of documents alongside the caption: “They are habitual offenders. They are criminals hidden behind masks. Now is the time to name and shame them… and we will.”
She also claimed that additional information regarding the dispute would emerge in the coming days and vowed to prove her allegations. According to Momina, there are several matters that she believes will eventually become public.
Alongside her statements, the actress shared graphics and documents relating to FIRs and legal complaints which she says support her position. Several of the posts contained allegations against Saqib Chadhar and his wife, while also suggesting that more revelations could follow as the dispute continues.
The latest social media posts have once again drawn attention to the ongoing controversy, with followers closely watching developments from both sides as the matter continues through legal channels.
