Actress Namra Shahid has shared her experience with producers Abdullah Kadwani and Asad Qureshi of 7th Sky Entertainment.
Namra praised the producers for their professionalism, revealing that throughout her career, they have never delayed any of her payments.
“Abdullah Kadwani and Asad Qureshi have never delayed a single rupee of my payments,” she shared.
However, Namra's appreciation extended apart from financial reliability.
She also recalled the support she received from the producers during one of the most difficult periods of her life following the passing of her mother.
According to the actress, while many people offered brief condolences, Abdullah Kadwani and Asad Qureshi reached out with a personal message that genuinely comforted her.
She described their response as empathetic and supportive.
At the time, Namra was working on a drama project and expected production concerns regarding schedules and shooting commitments.
Instead, she said she faced no pressure from the team to return to work.
The actress revealed that she was given the space and time needed to grieve without being threatened with replacement or pushed to resume filming before she was ready.
Even when the production team eventually contacted her regarding work, she said the conversation centered on her well-being rather than deadlines.
Reflecting on her decade-long journey in the entertainment industry, Namra credited several individuals associated with 7th Sky Entertainment for consistently supporting her career.
She specifically acknowledged Abdullah Kadwani, Asad Qureshi, and others within the team for providing opportunities and believing in her work over the years.
Payment delays have long been a recurring complaint within Pakistan’s entertainment industry, with many actors openly speaking about late payments, unanswered calls, and the difficulties of receiving compensation from certain production houses.
Actors often share stories of struggling to receive payments or having to repeatedly follow up with production houses, Namra’s experience painted a contrasting picture of professionalism, empathy, and mutual respect.
