A woman YouTuber in India became the victim of a burglary just a day after posting a video on social media in which she displayed her gold jewellery and gave viewers a tour of her home, 24NewsHD TV reported on Saturday.
According to Indian media reports, Rachna Gujar, a content creator from Shivpuri district in the central Indian state of Madhya Pradesh, regularly produces videos on social issues and records much of her content at home.
She has nearly 100,000 followers across social media platforms.
A few days ago, Gujar shared a vlog showing different areas of her house.
In the video, she was seen wearing gold jewellery and also displayed additional ornaments while discussing them with viewers.
The vlog received a positive response from followers, but the attention was soon followed by an unfortunate incident.

The YouTuber said the suspects escaped with gold ornaments worth around one million Indian rupees, along with other valuables and even a carton of energy drinks.
Gujar said CCTV cameras were installed at the house, but the suspects had covered their faces and reportedly turned the cameras away, making identification difficult.
Following the incident, she filed a police complaint at the Nawar Police Station, and authorities have launched an investigation into the burglary.
