Governor Sindh says will complete numbers with alliance’s support

Sindh Governor Imran Ismail on Sunday visited the headquarters of Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) at Bahadurabad and went on to say that if the allied parties stood by the side of Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI), then the ruling party will complete its numbers, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui said that it is not a matter of numbers, it is about seeing whose narrative is strong (government or opposition).

Talking to the media after the meeting, Imran Ismail said that today MQM proved to be a real alliance of PTI-led government. He hoped that MQM-P will support the government.

Khalid Maqbool said that “We have also come to know the narrative of the opposition, but our position is quite different from other political parties.”

Khalid Maqbool went on to say that Governor Imran Ismail had a history of coming to the headquarters of MQM-P. He hoped that Imran Ismail will continue to visit Bahadurabad, in the future.

The decision to whether support the government or the opposition over the no-confidence motion will be taken with the opinion of the MQM-P leadership and its’ workers, Khalid Maqbool said.

In the meeting, Governor Sindh was accompanied by Bilal Ghaffar, Haleem Adil Sheikh and Khurram Sher Zaman.
