Gold regained lost ground on Monday in line with a massive surge in international prices, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
According to All-Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of 24-Karats gold increased by Rs500 per tola and Rs428 per 10 grams to settle at Rs199,200 and Rs170,782, respectively.
The price of 10 grams gold of 22-Karat also reached 1,56,550 per tola.
The international price of gold saw a huge surge of $20 per ounce as the price for one ounce of gold reached $1,886 per ounce on Monday.
The price of silver in the country remained stable as one tola and 10 grams of 24-karat silver was being traded for Rs2,120 and Rs1,817.55, respectively.
