Government College University (GCU) has officially announced admissions for MPhil and MS programs for the academic year 2025, inviting applications across 36 departments.
According to university officials, 29 departments are offering programs at the main campus, while 7 disciplines will be available at GCU’s Kala Shah Kaku campus.
Admission this year is strictly contingent upon success in the GCU-GATE test, which has been declared mandatory for all applicants. Registration for the test is now open, with May 23, 2025, set as the last date to submit applications.
The GCU-GATE test will be conducted on May 31 and June 1, and candidates must secure at least 50% marks to qualify for admission.
Notably, students currently in the final semester of their BS (Hons) programs are also eligible to apply, making this a prime opportunity for fresh graduates seeking postgraduate education.
