Court grants three-day physical remand of Cocaine Queen Anmol alias Pinky

Drug dealer was also nominated in murder case; Pinky nominated her successor prior to her arrest

A court in Karachi on Wednesday granted to the police three-day physical remand of Anmol alias Pinky, a notorious female drug dealer, who had been arrested in Karachi on Tuesday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Police had filed a review appeal in sessions court in Karachi-South.

Pinky's name had first surfaced in 2022

In yet another development, it has emerged that Riaz Baloch, brother of Pinky, had told Lahore police in 2022 that his sister also supplied drugs.

Over one kilo of narcotics had been recovered from Baloch at that time. However, Pinky had managed to flee from the spot.

The woman is now expected to be handed over to a federal investigation agency.

Another issue for the drug dealer as now it has emerged that she was also nominated in a murder case.

In yet another development, it has emerged that before her arrest, Pinky recorded a voice message in which she had appointed her successor.

She had informed all her clients that in case they heard her voice message, they should be sure that she had been arrested.

She had asked them to interact with her successor.

DIG West appointed new inquiry officer

Also on Wednesday, SSP South Mehroze Ali was replaced by DIG West Irfan Ali Baloch as head of an inquiry team in the case and ordered to submit report within three days.

The team will record the statements of three police officials and two lady constables, who had been suspended following reports of a VIP treatment given to Pinky at police station as well as in court.

It will try to ascertain why the drug dealer was not handcuffed when she was produced in court.

The team will also examine the CCTV footage of the Garden police station, which will help it find out where and in what condition Pinky was kept in jail.

The attitude of the suspect with the cops will also be made part of the report.
