Security agencies have arrested the facilitator and handler of the Islamabad Judicial Complex suicide attack, reported 24NewsHDTV Channel on Thursday.
Agencies said that the suicide bomber turned out to be an Afghan national. Moreover, Islamabad Police have detained five suspects of the attack.
According to security sources, the facilitator had been living in Rawalpindi for the past one month. The facilitator was held from Dhok Paracha area of Rawalpindi while the handler was arrested from Bajaur district in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Before the suicide bombing, the facilitator and suicide bomber conducted reconnaissance of the judicial complex several times.
The handler and facilitator of the terror attack belong to KP.
Security agencies have arrested the facilitator of the terrorists and shifted them to an unknown location. The facilitator and handler of the attack were arrested within 40 hours.
At least 12 people were martyred and 28 injured in the Judicial Complex blast.
The facilitator also reviewed important locations in Rawalpindi Cantt.
On the other hand, Islamabad Police has taken five suspicious persons into custody during a police operation in Rawalpindi and Islamabad. Five persons were taken into custody from different areas of Rawalpindi and Islamabad.
Police were also determining which facilitator helped the attacker and what he did. According to police sources, the attacker came from 26 Chungi through another online bike service before Golra. The attacker came from Golra to the court while wearing a mask. The process of interrogation of the detained persons has been started at different places.
