Lamenting that terrorism had again raised its head in the country, Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Tuesday stressed the need for bidding adieu to old ways of running the country, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Talking to media men in Sukkur, he accused PTI Chairman Imran Khan of making the plan to settle the Taliban in Pakistan. “Even Pak-Afghan border was opened to let the militants in,” he alleged.

He said all those who were responsible for settling them on the Pakistani soil should be held accountable.

Bilawal went on to say that the weapons which the US forces left behind in Afghanistan had fallen into the hands of militants. “So much so that now these weapons have now reached katcha area of Sindh and the terrorists in katcha areas are using them,” he claimed.

PPP chairman was of the view that the only way the issues confronting masses could be resolved was by allowing a popular government to run the country.

Responding to a question about a level playing field, he said his objection was that it should be available to all.

He said he was deeply perturbed over the death of Jan Muhammad Mehr. “We will make sure that justice is done in the murder case,” he said, adding, “A JIT was also formed on Mehr’s family’s request.”

Bilawal paid tributes to the police personnel who laid down their lives while fighting against dacoits in the katcha area.
