Police have arrested the third suspect who fled from a court in Kallar Syedan after his bail was cancelled a day earlier, reported 24NewsHD TV.
According to police, three suspects had fled the court premises after their bail applications were dismissed. The three suspects were wanted in a case registered over the death of a madrassa student allegedly following torture in Kallar Syedan, police said.
With the arrest of the third fugitive suspect, all accused nominated in the case have now been arrested, police added. Police said a total of six suspects have so far been arrested in connection with the case. The police maintained that challans against the suspects would be submitted on the basis of solid evidence and efforts would be made to ensure that they receive punishment according to law.
