A young man died after drinking diesel on a bet with friends in village EB-75 Arifwala, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.

According to police, 27-year-old Murtaza bet his friends to drink one liter of diesel for Rs50000

Murtaza won the bet by drinking one liter of diesel but his condition worsened.

He was immediately shifted to District Headquarters Hospital Sahiwal as his condition worsened but the young man could not survive and died in the hospital.

The deceased was father of four children and was a truck driver.
