Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar has been ranked as the most positively viewed global leader, according to a Global Intelligence Report released this week.

The report stated that Dar secured the top position with a 30.5 percent positive opinion rating, reflecting strong international approval of his recent diplomatic engagements.

It noted that over the past seven days, Dar’s diplomatic leadership has received an exceptional response in global media coverage as well as in diplomatic circles, particularly in the context of regional peace efforts.

According to a Social Media Intelligence Report cited in the findings, the combined positive and neutral sentiment in favour of the foreign minister exceeded 90 percent, indicating broad-based support for his role.

The report highlighted Pakistan as a key player in efforts to reduce regional tensions and promote dialogue, especially through its involvement in facilitating negotiations between United States and Iran.

It further stated that Dar’s mediation efforts were appreciated by senior officials from multiple countries, including Saudi Arabia, China, and Turkey, among others.

The report also noted that the United Nations Secretary-General acknowledged Islamabad’s diplomatic role in easing tensions.

Additionally, the Pakistan-China Five-Point Peace Initiative has received support from several regional countries, with Saudi Arabia, Iran and others endorsing Pakistan’s efforts to promote stability.

Describing the broader impact, the report said Islamabad is increasingly emerging as a key diplomatic hub in the region, driven by its active role in facilitating dialogue and fostering cooperation among major stakeholders.
