Today there is no ‘no-go’ area in Punjab, says CM Maryam

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz said on Friday that the government wanted to build safe and secure Pakistan for the posterity, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Addressing a ceremony held at the Punjab Safe City Authority in connection with the independence day, she said that all districts in Punjab were being monitored through Safe City cameras.  

She claimed that today there was no no-go area in the province, including the katcha area. “After several decades, the katcha area is now safe and secure for the people.”

The chief minister said that more than 80,000 cases related to children had been resolved.

She said that real development was the one in which no segment of the population lagged behind the other. 

CM Maryam also claimed that decisions were taken in Punjab on the basis of data and figures and the development of the province was properly documented.
