In the US state of Georgia, the last meal request of a death row inmate sentenced for a double murder has captured global attention for its unusual nature, 24 NewsHD TV reported on Sunday.

According to international news agencies, 52-year-old Stacy Humphries surprised authorities when asked about his final wish.

Instead of requesting to meet loved ones or seeking spiritual solace, Humphries opted for an indulgent, high-calorie feast.

Standing approximately 6 feet 3 inches tall and weighing 305 pounds, Humphries, who was obese, requested an assortment of meats and fast food items as his final meal.

His elaborate order included barbecue beef brisket, pig meat, a bacon double cheeseburger, French fries, coleslaw, cornbread, buffalo wings, a meat-lover’s pan pizza, vanilla ice cream, and two lemon-lime sodas.

Typically, death row inmates use their final hours to spend time with family or reflect spiritually, making Humphries’ choice particularly unusual and widely discussed in international media.

The case has sparked conversations about the psychology and preferences of inmates facing capital punishment, and the human stories behind the formal procedures of the justice system.
